Lincoln's Home

June 22,2009

Today we visited Lincoln's Home National Historic Site. It was very impressive and well worth the visit. Lincoln lived here inSpringfield, Illinois, for 25 years of his adult life. He was elected president will living in Springfield. All four of his sons were born here. Eddie died of tuberculosis
at the age of four. Two others died later. The only son who survived to adulthood was Robert the oldest.

Lincoln's law offices are still in operation here.

Another great day with temperatures above 100 degrees.
